Use a conditioner each time you wash your hair. Dry hair tends to frizz, so make this a part of your routine. Look for a conditioner that contains ingredients such as keratin to strengthen the hair. Olive oil and shea butter are excellent moisturizers, so look for them in the list of ingredients. Follow the directions on the label for the proper application.

2
Towel-dry your hair carefully. Wrap your hair in the towel and squeeze it to remove excess water. Do not rub your hair with the towel, because this can cause it to frizz. Allow your hair to air-dry as much as possible.

Apply a product designed to eliminate frizz. Buy a product for your particular hair type, whether fine, medium or thick, because each hair type responds to different ingredients. For example, a water-based frizz product is beneficial for fine hair. Apply the product after you have washed and towel-dried your hair.

Blow-dry your hair carefully. If you must blow-dry your hair, use an ionic blow dryer, which is designed to reduce frizz by locking out the moisture that causes hair to puff. Use a natural-bristle brush when drying and aim the blow dryer down to reduce puffiness.

5
Avoid hair sprays that contain alcohol, which can dry out your strands and lead to frizzy hair.
