Enable VPN to access private network resources via the Internet when you are on traveling.

Add PPTP or Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol configuration to your DD-WRT router using the Web administration pages when remote access to your private network is required. DD-WRT includes a PPTP service, but it is disabled by default and requires configuration before VPN clients can access the private network. Enable the DD-WRT PPTP service to provide secure, encrypted access to your private network.
