How to Make a Lollipop Tree Craft for Kids
Kids and lollipops go hand-in-hand, so use the sweet treats to create a craft that your children can help you make. A colorful lollipop tree will make a charming birthday party centerpiece, and the guests can take the candy home as favors. Use your child's favorite lollipop flavor, such as cherry or grape, when making the trees as a personalized touch. Lollipop trees also make delicious Christmas, Valentine's Day or other holiday gifts for the candy lovers in your life.

1
Cut 20 10-inch pieces of thin satin ribbon in any color of your choice. Use red and green ribbons for a Christmas-inspired tree, or orange ribbon for a Halloween-themed tree.
-
2
Unwrap approximately 20 medium size lollipops of any flavor or shape; you can use more or less candy depending on how full you want the tree to be. Customize the look of the tree by choosing lollipops in festive shapes, such as hearts or spiders.

3
Tie the ribbons into bows around the lollipop sticks, directly underneath the candy, for a decorative look.
-
4
Insert the lollipop sticks into a 12-inch polystyrene cone. Starting at the base of the cone and working your way to the top, insert the sticks into the foam in neat rows. Angle the sticks slightly as a creative touch.
