How to Dress for an Interview at McDonald's
Interviewing for a first job can be a stressful experience. Many young adults don't know what to expect, and the pressure to make a good impression is strong, especially in a bad economy. Human beings instinctively judge someone on their appearance, so job interview clothing is an important aspect of getting a job. Although you don't have to dress to the nines for a McDonald's interview, looking professional and put-together is essential to being considered for employment.

1
Choose simple clothes and colors. The focus of the interview should be your friendliness and work ethic, not your flashy new top. Avoid neon colors, loud patterns or unusual shapes.
-
2
Don't overdress. Although a suit and tie may be the best choice for a professional job, the service industry is more casual and personality-focused. When in doubt, khaki or black pants and a button-down shirt work for men or women.

Make sure all of your clothing fits properly and is in good repair. Nothing is more distracting or sloppy-looking than a too-tight shirt or a missing button. Don't forget to check your rear view in a mirror to avoid surprise stains or rips.

Strive to look as neat and put-together as possible. Wash and iron your clothes, ensure that your hair is clean and well-groomed and wear clean, minimal makeup. An orderly appearance implies that you are organized and mature, so save the bedhead hair or flashy eye shadow for going out with friends.
