How to Make Cat Whiskers With Eyeliner

Look at cat whiskers for inspiration before doing your makeup.

Cat makeup or cat face painting always involves drawing whiskers. Like you see on cats, the whiskers extend from the sides of the nose outward. The whiskers are usually black, white or brown. Eyeliner is a great way to draw the whiskers on because you can use it like a pencil, it's safe and it's washable.

Instructions

1. Determine the color you want to use and purchase an eyeliner. There are many kinds of eyeliners, including liquid eyeliner and waterproof eyeliner. There are also various sizes or thicknesses, so choose the size that will give you the width you want each whisker to be.

2. Draw three or four dots on each side of your nose using the eyeliner. Extend a line from each dot moving straight outward toward the edge of your cheek, but not all the way to your ears. Press firmly for a dark, defined line. These lines are the whiskers.

3. Draw additional dots with the eyeliner near the ones you used as starting points for the whiskers if you wish. Cats often have spots around the whisker area, and drawing these spots will enhance your cat whisker look.
