Instructions

    • 1

Fold the yellow fleece in half so you have two layers of fabric. Lay the plate face down on the fleece and trace around in. This will be the center of your daisy.

    • 2

Pin the two layers of fleece together just inside the drawn circle. This will stop the pieces from shifting when cutting which could result in the circles being different sizes.

    • 3

Cut out the circles through both layers of fleece, making two yellow circles.

    • 4

Fold the the white fleece in half so you have two layers of fabric. Pin one yellow circle in the center of the fabric.

    • 5

Lay the plate along the outer edge of the yellow circle. Trace around the plate to make petal shapes around the circle. Do not drawn your line all the way down to the center circle. You are just making the petal bumps around the circle, not actual petals.

    • 6

Pin the two layers of white fleece together inside the petal line. Cut out the flower shape just along the drawn line.

    • 7

Unpin the two white pieces of fleece. Leave the yellow circle pinned to the center of one and pin the yellow circle to the center of the other.

    • 8

Sew the yellow circle to the center of each white fleece flower shape. Stitch using the pressure foot as a guide.

    • 9

Add more detail to each piece of white petal with a yellow center by stitching lines between the petals.

    • 10

Lay one fleece daisy piece on top of the other, right sides together. Align the edges and pin. Leave a hole for turning right side out and stuffing the pillow.

    • 11

Start on one side of the hole and stitch around the pillow using the pressure foot as a guide. Sew until you reach the other side of the hole. Double stitch for durability.

    • 12

Clip the curves of the pillow for easier turning and to make a better daisy shape.

    • 13

Turn the pillow right side out and stuff as soft or hard as you would like. Hand sew the opening closed.
