How Do I Lengthen the Logon Sessions in eCopy?

Ecopy ShareScan is an software program produced by Nuance Communications that helps businesses convert paper-based documents into digital images. This allows users to integrate the new digitalized documents into the organization's network system. eCopy requires users to provide logon information every time a connector is selected during the current session. You can bypass this and lengthen the logon session by making a quick configuration change through the Services Manager utility. This change will allow the user to log on to the system a single time, and the session will last until the user decides to log out.

Instructions

1. Click the Windows "Start" menu, choose "Programs," "eCopy Applications" and "ShareScan OP Administration." The "Select ShareScan OP Manager" window will open.

2. Choose the host name or IP address that corresponds to the user or machine for the logon session to be configured. Click "OK." The "eCopy ShareScan OP Administration - Scan Station" window will open.

3. Expand the "ShareScan OP" node from the left pane's tree directory. Expand the selected host name, expand "System Information" and click "Properties." The "Properties" window will open.

4. Select the "Session Logon" tab. Choose the "Enable Session Logon" option and click "Save." Restart the system eCopy ShareScan application.
