How to Make a Raised Letter Sorority Shirt
Members of a sorority like to show their house affinity by wearing accessories emblazoned with their Greek initials. T-shirts are especially common, and members will often have them made to commemorate special events and holidays. If you'd like to create a gift for your sorority sisters, making handmade appliques with their names and the name of the sorority is an easy and classy gift. Using a thicker patterned fabric will make your letters really pop.

Create a template by drawing or tracing your sorority's Greek letters onto the cardboard. Cut out the letters and set aside. Plug in your iron and arrange your fabric on a flat iron-safe surface.

2
Iron the fusible webbing onto the wrong side of the fabric, following the manufacturer's instructions. Once the fabric cools, trace your cardboard templates in pencil on the paper backing of the webbing. Cut out the letters and peel off the paper backing to expose the slightly sticky surface.
