Decide on an animal print style you want to use as inspiration for your makeup. Create a zebra print with a white base with black, squiggly stripes. Leopard print requires a golden base with black and brown spots. Tiger print requires an orange base with black and white stripes. Decide what animal print you want to use to determine which makeup colors you select.

Decide on which what part of your face you want to apply makeup. You can cover your entire face in animal print or just your eyes and lips. If you want to do your entire face, you'll need more makeup than if you just want to do your eyes and lips.

Apply a base coat over your eyes, face or lips (or all three). The base coat will depend on the type of animal print you choose. Use foundation and powder on the face, eyeshadow on the eyelids and lipstick on the lips. The base coat color will show through behind any spots or stripes you draw on later. Choose the correct color based on the print you select.

Draw the stripes or spots according to the animal print you've chosen using an eyeliner pencil (and lip liner pencil). Using a liquid eyeliner might be easier. Test a few out before deciding what works for you. Use a magnifying mirror, if available, to get a closer look while you work. Be patient and keep your hand steady, or have a friend do it for you. Draw the stripes or spots on one or two locations only (such as the eyelids and the lips) or all across the face as one canvas.

Finish up your animal print makeup look with mascara. Often, after applying makeup, the eyelashes get covered in powder. Gently wipe the eyelashes. Apply a coat or two of mascara. You can use false eyelashes for more emphasis on your eyes.
