Instructions

    • 1

Use the flat-head screwdrivers to unscrew the back plate of the watch. Place the blades in the notches on either side of the back plate. Turn the plate counterclockwise to remove.

    • 2

Remove the movement stem. This is the small knob on the side of the watch used to adjust the time. Pull the knob out and twist in the opposite direction you use to adjust time on the watch.

    • 3

Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the movement. Turn the screws counterclockwise to remove. Applying pressure while turning helps keep the screws from stripping.

    • 4

Lift the movement from the casing. Move the second hand to the 9 o’clock position and remove.

    • 5

Separate the two pieces of the movement after removing the second hand.
