Instructions

    • 1

Condition your hair with a silicone-based conditioner during the shower. The silicone will coat your hair, therefore neutralizing the electric charges.

    • 2

Brush your hair with a natural bristle brush after the shower. A natural bristle brush distributes your scalp's natural oils evenly and helps protect the hair shaft from becoming too dry, and therefore, susceptible to static electricity.

    • 3

Apply a silicone-based styling product, such as gel, mousse or a light hair spray in your hair. The silicone will weigh hair down slightly, but will also prevent static. Place a small amount of product in your hands and evenly distribute through your hair. If you choose to apply hair spray, spray a light coating over all of your hair.
