How to Count Hairpin Lace Loops
Hairpin lace is a type of crocheting done on a special loom. The technique of hairpin lace has a strip of crocheting down the center with two sides that consist of loops. A completed strip of hairpin lace has an even number of loops on both sides. Counting the loops is a tedious and time-consuming process. A simple trick helps a crafter keep track of and count the number of loops on each side of the hairpin lace loom.
