How to Make Interchangeable Jewelry
Make your own interchangeable jewelry, such as rings, necklace pendants and earrings, with small flat button-shaped craft magnets and jewelry findings or settings. By using the same-sized cabochons – which have a round domed top and a flat back – you can switch out the center of a pendant, ring or earring with a stone of a different color or type. Interchangeable jewelry can have its stones switched out to match any outfit or mood.

Tips & Warnings
Glue cabochons to metal settings that stick to magnets to eliminate the need to glue a magnet to the back of the setting.
Work in a well-ventilated area when using craft glue.
