The iOS SDK for Xcode is required for development of iPhone applications.

Apple's Software Development Kit for iOS devices is included with the developer files on new Mac computers. Computers that do not have the iOS SDK installed may find the iPhone development tools in the Mac App Store. Once the tools are downloaded, users may run the iPhone development tools within Xcode.
