Enjoy the same soft, cozy fabric you wear to keep warm outside during the chilly fall and winter months while lounging on the couch or sleeping in your bed by creating fleece pillow cases. You don't need to know how to sew or even be able to cut a perfectly straight line to make tie fleece pillow cases, making them an excellent craft project to tackle with children.
Things You'll Need
- Tape measure
- Pillow form
Machine wash and dry your fleece fabric.
Measure the length and width of the pillow form you want to create a case for.
Add 8 inches to both the length and width of the form. Cut two pieces of fleece to these new dimensions.
Cut a 4-inch square from all four corners of both pieces of fleece. Make a 4-inch-deep cut every inch along all four sides of both pieces of fleece.
Place the pillow form between the two pieces of fleece. Tie the corresponding pieces of fringe from the two pieces of fleece together all the way around the pillow form to secure the case over it. Tie the fringe pieces together with double knots.
