You can connect a 2wire router to the DSL modem in your home or office.

The 2Wire Corp. manufactures a line of gateway routers that are capable of sharing a single Internet connection with multiple computers and devices over a wireless network. If you receive Internet through a DSL connection, you can hook your 2Wire gateway router directly to your DSL modem using a standard telephone cable. You can then access the gateway router's configuration and adjust the device's wireless network settings.
