How to Delete Friends on Facebook From an iTouch

The Facebook application is free.

Facebook mobile applications don't function exactly the same way as the full site, but most essentially functions are still available, including unfriending. If you have an iPod Touch, a user-friendly Facebook application is offered by Apple for your device. Friends can be deleted in the application one at a time -- when you delete a Facebook friend using your iPod app, the action applies to your account in both mobile and regular forms. The friend will no longer appear on your friend list the next time you sign in to Facebook on your computer.

Instructions

1. Download the Facebook application from your device's App Store by opening the App Store and doing a search for "Facebook." Tap the Facebook app in your search results and then choose "Buy Now." Once the download is complete, tap the Facebook icon on your home screen once to open the application.

2. Tap the icon in the top left corner of the app that has a grid of nine squares on it. Choose the "Friends" icon from the menu page that opens.

3. Tap on your friend's name to open her profile. Friends are listed alphabetically by first name.

4. Tap on the arrow in the top right corner of your friend's profile. Select the red "Unfriend" button.
