How to Jailbreak the iPod Touch 3.2.1
Jailbreaking your iPod touch on version 3.2.1 of the iOS operating system unlocks the device from iTunes. Once unlocked, the iPod touch can install third-party software from the independent Cydia application store, which is automatically installed as part of the jailbreaking process. Launch the Safari Web browser on your iPod touch by tapping its icon on the Home screen.

Type "http://www.jailbreakme.com" into the address bar and press the "Go" button on the keyboard. The JailbreakMe website loads and displays a listing for the Cydia app store.

Tap the green "Free" button in the upper right corner. Tap it again when the button turns blue and its text changes to "Install." Cydia is downloaded to your iPod touch, initiating the jailbreaking process.

Launch Cydia once download is complete by tapping its icon on the Home screen.

Tap the "Complete Upgrade" button in the dialog box to download and install the latest version of the Cydia software. Once the upgrade is complete, the iPod touch restarts and your device is now jailbroken.

Tips & Warnings
Any iOS device running version 4.3.3 or lower of the iOS operating system can be jailbroken using this method.
If you restore or update your iPod touch to a newer version of the iOS operating system using iTunes, its jailbroken status will be lost.
