Instructions

    • 1

Measure your head circumference with the tape measure.

    • 2

Cut a piece of elastic to be 2 inches shorter than the circumference of your head.

    • 3

Overlap the two ends 1/2 inch, creating a circle.

    • 4

Sew the center of the overlap of the elastic using a machine zigzag stitch. Make several rows of stitching one on top of the other to secure the overlap.

    • 5

Remove the plastic center stem from the flower by pulling off the cap then pulling each petal layer off individually. Keep the petals in order as you remove them.

    • 6

Place a small glue dot on the elastic directly over the overlap of the headband.

    • 7

Press the bottom petal of the flower onto the glue dot.

    • 8

Make another glue dot in the center of the bottom petal and stick the next petal on the glue dot.

    • 9

Continue to adhere the petals to the headband, in the order they were on the flower, until all the petals are on the headband.

    • 10

Allow the headband to dry overnight.
