Directions for Applying Lotion Under the Eyes
If you have dark circles under your eyes, puffiness or fine lines and wrinkles, an eye lotion can help minimize their appearance. The skin under the eyes is delicate and thin, so applying eye lotion should be done carefully. Rubbing the area too hard can aggravate the area and lead to premature lines and wrinkles. Whether you use eye lotion in the morning or at night, the application process remains the same. Does this Spark an idea?

Apply a pea-sized amount of eye lotion to a cotton swab and make small dots with it underneath each eye. Apply the dots on the bone of your eye socket, from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner that is prone to crow's feet.

Pat the area lightly with your ring finger to distribute the lotion. The ring finger is the weakest one and will help you avoid pulling or rubbing the fragile eye area too much. Pat the area until all the lotion absorbs.
