Instructions

    • 1

Comb through your hair to remove any tangles. Hair that is one-day washed will work best for the loose bun. If you recently washed your hair, apply a texturizing spray to your strands to help combat the silkiness that the wash-out conditioner created. Allow your hair to dry completely.

    • 2

Pull the hair back with your fingers into a ponytail at the nape of your neck. Alternatively, secure the hair at the right or left side of your head. Secure the ponytail with clear ponytail holder. Wrap the ponytail holder tightly around the base so it will not fall out during wear.

    • 3

Grab the tail of the ponytail in your hand and pull downward. Twist the ponytail with your hands. Once the hair becomes tight from twisting, wrap it down and around the base of the ponytail. Hold the tips of the tail close to the base of the ponytail.

Wrap the second ponytail holder around the bun to secure the bun to the hair. Ensure that the end of the tail is tucked into the ponytail holder. Release your hands from the hair. The bun will be loose against your scalp. Use bobby pins to secure any areas that you feel are too loose.

Spray the entire hairstyle with light-hold hairspray. Keep flyaways in place by spraying hair with an anti-frizz or shine serum.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pull the front tendrils out and curl them for a romantic hairstyle.

  • Add fancy clips or headbands to the hairstyle.

  • Carry a small bottle of hairspray to spritz flyaways and keep them in place.
