Use bronzer and blush for a sun-kissed natural look.

Makeup can do more than just make you look pretty. When used properly with certain techniques, it can change your face shape, color and hide flaws. Bronzer gives skin a sun-kissed look, however, it should not make your skin look too dark or unnatural for your skin tone. Adding in a pop of pink or coral blush on your cheeks and a light, shimmering highlight color will give you a perfect summer glow. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Sweep a large blush brush into your bronzer and tap it on the compact to remove any excess powder. Starting in the center of your cheek, brush the bronzer up toward the temples in a diagonal line, just below the cheekbones. Apply the bronzer on your face after foundation and concealer for more even coverage.

    • 2

Sweep more color lightly on each side of the forehead and along the bridge of the nose. Apply an even lighter amount under the eyes, sweeping the brush back and forth from near the nose to the edge of the outer eye.

    • 3

Clean off your brush and dip it in the blush. Tap off any excess and use small, outward circular motions to apply to the apples of your cheeks. Blend it in with the brush so it does not look too bright or cakey. Use lighter blush colors in peach and pink to complement bronzed skin.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a clean blush brush to sweep on a light layer of highlighting powder on the nose, under eyes and the temples after bronzer and blush. It will give your skin a light glow and highlight your cheekbones.
