DIY Felt Die Cutting
A die cut machine uses pressure and metal stencils to cut designs from paper without the use of scissors or a computer-operated paper cutter. Cutting fabric with a die cut machine is not difficult. However, without the right tools, the project will mess up nearly every time. The key to cutting felt with a die cut machine is to add a piece of stabilizer behind the felt to make it stiff enough to cut easily with the die cut machine. Iron-on interfacing is usually enough to stiffen the felt so that the die cut machine can make clean cuts.
