For many sports fanatics, the Super Bowl is the biggest sports day of the year. It carries on decades of tradition. Along the way, new traditions have attached themselves to the Super Bowl such as huge parties, copious amounts of food and drink, first-run commercials and, yes, Super Bowl football pool sheets. If you have never made a football pool sheet before, don’t fret. It’s a easy as drawing up a multiplication table.

Instructions

      Draw a 10-square by 10-square grid on a sheet of paper.

      Number each column from 0 to 9 across the top of the first row. Along the first column on the left side, number each row from 0 to 9.

      Write the name of one of the competing teams above the numbers on the top of the page.

    • 4

      Add the name of the opposing team to the left of the numbers on the left side.

    • 5

      Fill in the names of participants in each square. Some pools collect money for squares.

Tips & Warnings

  • At the end of the game, the person who has the square where the two scores intersect is the winner. For instance, if the final score is Packers 31 and Steelers 25, the winner would be the participant whose name is in the square where the 1 column and 5 row intersect.

  • Some pools award winners using the score at the end of each quarter.
