How to Decorate Bridal Party Flip-Flops

Basic flip flops can be dressed up for a wedding party.

Bridal party outfits and accessories can be personalized to make the shower, bachelorette party and other pre-wedding events fun and special, right on down to the footwear. Bridal party flip flops may be worn at a pre-wedding spa session, a pool party or just while hanging with the girls before the big day. Decorating flip flops is a cute way to coordinate the bridal party and make every moment together special.

Things You'll Need

• Hot glue gun
• Ribbon
• Decorative gems
• Decorative appliques

Instructions

1. Glue the end of the ribbon to the inside of the rubber thong part of the flip flop near where it attaches to the sole.

2. Tightly wrap the ribbon around one half of the thong. Wrap the ribbon as desired which may include an overlap, diagonal or horizontal wrap pattern with a thick or thin ribbon.

3. Glue the ribbon to the underside of the thong at the middle and continue wrapping.

4. Add glue at the end of the thong and cut the ribbon.

5. Use the hot glue gun to add appliques with a bridal theme like flowers, seashells or birds to the top of the ribbon-wrapped thong. Glue on jewels, bows or any other decoration that coordinates with the bridal party's colors and theme.
