Instructions

-
1
Start with a basic red leotard, long or short sleeved.
-
2
Attach the heart with safety pins as an alternate to ironing or sewing. Attach an iron-on heart of any color to the front of the leotard. Cut a heart out of fabric or felt, if necessary, and sew it on.
-
-
3
Add black tights underneath the leotard. Alternately, black leggings can be worn over the leotard.
-
4
Attach two black pipe cleaners to a black headband to make antenna. Or buy an inexpensive black antenna headband at your local party store.
-
5
Wings from angel or fairy costumes work well. Slip a set of wings from any costume you already have over your child's shoulders.
-
6
Use any black shoes, boots or ballet slippers.
-
7
Put circles of red face paint (or lipstick) on her cheeks and fill in the circles.
-
8
Draw big, black circles around her eyes with facepaint or eyeliner. Sunglasses or black-framed glasses can be used as an alternative.
-
9
Add a black, red or white tutu for extra pizazz.
