Instructions

    • 1

Cover your workspace with an old towel, butcher block paper or other similar covering.

    • 2

Lay the veil as flat as possible on the workspace. If veil is multi-layered, work with one layer at a time. Secure other layers out of the way.

    • 3

If desired, mark out a pattern on the veil using a light-colored chalk pencil.

    • 4

Using a toothpick, apply a small amount of fabric glue to the bottom/back of a bead.

    • 5

Press the bead firmly into the desired spot on the veil.

    • 6

Repeat steps 4 and 5 as many times as necessary to complete the design.

    • 7

Allow glue to dry completely before moving the veil or advancing to the next layer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use graph paper to create a design sketch of your veil before you begin. This will help you avoid misplaced beads.

  • Do not use newspaper to cover your workspace as the ink may bleed onto your veil.
