1
Pack your suitcase with the rest of your clothing, excluding shoes, belts, toiletries and any other small items until later.
-
2
Fold your dress in half or in thirds, depending on the length of the dress and the size of your suitcase. To reduce wrinkles, nestle soft garments like T-shirts or camisoles into the folds. Lay the dress down flat and place a shirt on top of it. Fold the dress back over the shirt so the shirt fits snugly into the dress. The extra padding will prevent creases from forming while your dress is packed your suitcase.

3
Wrap the dress in a plastic dry cleaning bag or trash bag. Smooth out any wrinkles that may appear. The slippery plastic will serve as a barrier between your clothes and your suitcase, preventing anything from staying in one position long enough to create wrinkles.
-
4
Lay the wrapped, folded dress on top of the rest of your packed clothing.
-
5
Pack small items like belts, undergarments and toiletries around the perimeter of the suitcase, taking special care not to pinch the dress between items.
