Things You'll Need

  • Plastic planter
  • Potting soil
  • Green plastic tubing cut into 6-inch lengths
  • Green felt
  • White felt
  • Styrofoam ball
  • Red paint
  • Black paint
  • Craft knife

      Insert a piece of green tubing into a planter filled with potting soil. This will create the stem and the base for the centerpiece.

      Cut a wedge out of the Styrofoam ball to create the mouth of the piranha plant with the craft knife.

      Paint the Styrofoam ball red and let it dry on a a sheet of newspaper.

      Cut out felt teeth, spots, eyes and leaves in the appropriate felt colors.
