How to Troubleshoot Adium That Quit Unexpectedly

Adium is an open-source messaging application available for the Mac OS X operating system that can communicate with a number of other chat clients such as AIM, Yahoo! Chat and iChat. Troubleshoot your version of Adium to return the software to a functional operating condition. If your version is closing unexpectedly, your application may have been corrupted or a critical program file may have been accidentally removed. As long as you have created a backup of your program, you can restore the application to your hard drive.

      Connect the USB cable from the external hard drive that stores the backup files for your Mac.
