How to Make a Short Wedding Dress Full

Short wedding dresses offer more versatility than long ones. The bride can wear the dress for the wedding ceremony and all through the reception. Things You'll Need

• Measuring tape
• Petticoat slip
• Wedding dress

Instructions

1. Measure your short wedding dress from the front hem to each side seam with measuring tape. Double the measurement and that will tell you the ideal circumfrence of the petticoat slip.

2. Purchase or order the petticoat slip from a bridal shop. Provide the measurements and bring your dress in person. Ideally the slip should create a bell shape when you wear it under the dress.

3. Slip on the petticoat slip. Put your wedding dress on over it.

Tips & Warnings

• Wear white or nude undergarments underneath the slip.
