Instructions

    • 1

Place the hand mold on a table that is centrally located. This can be a coffee table, dining room table, or a pedestal-type table that is easily seen. Use the mold as a unique centerpiece on a table for a dinner or a conversation piece located centrally within a living room or den. If using another display type of table, an entry way or the end of a hallway could work well as a highly visible spot that will attract viewing eyes.

    • 2

Put the hand mold in a display case. This may be a better option if the mold is made of a fragile material. Often, display cases have glass enclosures that keep dust, dirt and any other damaging materials from touching the pieces stored within the case. Some display cases even have lighting systems within them that will highlight art pieces in a way to improve their appearance.

    • 3

Hang the hand mold from a wall, beam or another object that is capable of supporting the piece. Tie some thin string around the fingers of the hand mold if there is no loop or other mounting object available on the piece. Cut the string with scissors. Secure each end of the string to a finger creating a loop from which the piece can hang. Loop the string around a nail in a wall or another protruding object that will fit within the loop.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't hang the hand mold too low where people could bump their heads or where the piece could fall and hurt somebody.
