  • Embroidery floss

Instructions

      Open the metal purse frame and place it inside the fabric of the purse. Match the long edges of the fabric to the long edges of the metal frame.

      Place a small piece of painter's tape below the holes on each side of the frame to temporarily hold the fabric in place on the frame while you sew.

      Thread your needle with embroidery floss.

      Insert the needle through the first hole on the inside of the fabric, on one side of the metal frame. Pull the needle through the hole on the other side of the fabric and insert it back through the fabric and through the second metal hole on the frame. Continue weaving in and out of the holes until you reach the end of the metal frame. Tie a knot in the embroidery floss to secure it.

      Repeat Step 4 to attach the other side of the metal frame to the purse fabric.
