How to Make a Fleece Head Warmer With a Flower Bow
A fleece head warmer can easily be assembled from leftover scraps of fleece or an old fleece sweater or pair of pants. A sewing machine will quicken the process slightly, however, you can easily sew the head warmer by hand as well. Fleece is an especially soft fabric and can be an appropriate alternative for those who find wool and acrylic head warmers itchy and uncomfortable. An added fleece flower bow transforms a plain head warmer into a decorative and feminine cold-weather accessory.

Serge along the outer edges of your fleece head warmer.

Cut five 1-inch-diameter circles of fleece. Fold each circle in half. Pinch the bottoms with one hand and sew the points together. This makes your flower petals. Sew the points of all of your circles together, forming your flower. Attach your flower to your fleece headband using a thread and needle.
