Instructions

    • 1

Tape paper monkeys wearing pink, green or blue diapers on the walls throughout the house. You can make these monkeys yourself or buy paper monkeys at the craft store, party store or online. If the monkeys aren't wearing diapers, cut paper in the shape of diapers and glue them on the paper monkeys. White diapers with pink or blue bows on both sides can also work.

    • 2

Put white, blue, green or pink cloth doll diapers on plush monkeys. If you can't find doll diapers, you can place regular baby diapers on the stuffed animals and then glue blue or pink bows on the diapers.

    • 3

Use double-sided tape to attach silk ivy vines along the border of the counter, present table and within other areas of the house. You can tape some of the vines on the walls so they hang down from the ceiling. The vines add a jungle-like feel to the baby shower.

    • 4

Tie pink or blue balloons around all the chairs at the baby shower and tape balloons on the walls throughout the house. You can also feature other colored balloons, depending on if the shower is for a boy or a girl. Green, purple and red balloons also work. Just choose decoration colors based on the main colors you want to feature at the shower.

    • 5

Place a cake shaped like a monkey face on the cake table or counter. You can ask the baker to add touches, such as a blue or pink bow, depending on whether the shower is for a boy or a girl. Cupcakes with little monkey figurines, monkey-shaped chocolates and monkey shaped sandwiches also work well as food for the party. Use a monkey-shaped cookie cutter to create monkey-shaped sandwiches for the food table.

Place fake plants throughout the house, and secure little toy monkeys inside the plants.
