Each piece of your chain can have a special meaning.

Elegance, sophistication and beauty do not have to come at a high price. A stylish linked bracelet is stunning to the eye, and also affordable, if you make it yourself. This piece is suitable for any occasion, and can be a piece of self expression. As a gift, you can make a linked bracelet as an object to show someone your appreciation of love, family, friendship and strength. Instructions

    • 1

Lay your chain link flat on a hard surface. Measure out 7 inches of chain for a female and about 12 inches for a male. If this linked bracelet is for yourself, then measure around your own wrist with the chain. Remove the additional links you do not need with your pliers.

    • 2

Open a jump ring with your pliers. Loop the jump ring through the designated hole on your lobster claw clasp. Put the jump ring through the last link at one end of your chain. Close the jump ring with the pliers. Don't leave any openings in the jump ring. This could cause you to lose the bracelet.

Open another jump ring with the pliers. This jump ring goes through the last link on the opposite end of the bracelet. Close the jump ring tightly. Open three more jump rings. Attach all three jump rings in a line, and then attach the line onto the jump ring going through the last link. This will make the bracelet adjustable.

Test the length of the bracelet and the clasp by putting the bracelet on your wrist. Shake the bracelet gently. It should stay on. If not, you need a stronger lobster claw clasp.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a large lobster claw for heavy chains.
