Transferring a Photo From iPhoto to iPad

Devices from Apple are designed so that they can be synchronized together with ease. You can transfer photos from the Apple photo software iPhoto to the tablet iPad via a USB cable. The photos can then be viewed on the iPad; you can designate which albums and images you want to transfer. The synchronization requires Apple iTunes to be installed on the computer.

• iTunes
• USB cable

Instructions

1. Connect the iPad to your computer using the provided USB cable. iTunes will start automatically. If it does not, then double-click on the iTunes icon to start it.

2. Click on the iPad name in the left-hand toolbar.

3. Click on the "Photos" tab. Under the heading of "Sync Photos From," designate "iPhoto."

4. Check the albums or individual photographs that you wish to sync to the iPad.

5. Click on the "Sync" button in the lower-right-hand corner of the page to transfer the photographs to the iPad.
