How to Make the Fiftieth Wedding Invitations Using Photos
Celebrate your fiftieth wedding invitation with friends and family. To invite them, you'll need to create invitations. Use a photo and include the details to entice them to come share in your joy.

- Photo
- Microsoft Word
- Craft glue
- Envelopes
- Gold stickers that are the number 50

Choose a photo. You can use a photo from when you and your spouse married or a recent photo. You'll have to make a copy for as many guests as you are inviting so make sure the photo you select isn't copyright-protected by the photographer.

Open Microsoft Word. Click on "Page Layout" and then "Landscape."

Click on "Insert" to make a text box. Choose "Simple Text Box." Go to "Shape Outline" and click on "No Outline." Move the text box to the right side of the page. Using the rule on the side of the page, expand the text box to the size of the photo you will use.

Choose the center alignment button on the top of the screen and start typing your invite. For example, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith invite you to share in their joy of celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary at the Cinderella Palace at 2 pm on Sept. 19, 2011."

Print out the invite information to the back of each photo. Place it in an envelope for each guest, use your number 50 stickers on the back and mail it.

Tips & Warnings
Play around with your Word program. You can insert into the background of the invite information photo of you and your spouse. Change the transparency of it and write over it to give it a romantic effect. You can add a loving quote to make it even more touching.
Add color to the invite information.
