Gather the cover of your dog bed by removing it from the bed itself using a zipper or by removing the fabric case itself.

Wash the dog bed cover in a traditional washing machine on a cold setting using basic laundry detergent.

Add the foam piece of your dog bed into a bath filled with warm water and a scoop of laundry detergent. Hand wash the foam part of the dog bed without using brushes to avoid destroying the material. Use your hands to work the foam in the warm, soapy and detergent-filled water to remove odors.

Rinse the foam section of your dog bed by emptying the tub of warm, soapy water and refilling the tub with fresh cold water. Squeeze the bed repeatedly to remove the detergent, cleaning it thoroughly.

Place the foam part of your dog bed into the sun or outside to air dry.

Use a pet odor eliminator spray on the foam section of the dog bed as well as the cover after its wash and dry cycle. Place the dog cover back on the foam of the dog bed.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid using a dryer with a foam dog bed as the dryer may shrink or destroy and rip the foam material during the drying cycle.
