Go to the Craigslist home page. Click "My Account" and log in to your Craigslist account if you have one. If you don't, click "Post to Classifieds." It isn't necessary to have an account to post on Craigslist.

Select a category for your posting, such as "For Sale" or "Jobs." Choose a sub-category if one is necessary, like "Furniture" or "Writing/Editing."

Enter a title, location and price (if necessary) for the ad. Type in a concise yet informative description of the product, service or request, then attach any pictures as necessary.
