Use the iMac as a monitor for your game console.

The iMac features a Target Display Mode that allows you to use the iMac's monitor as a display for another computer or other device, including your Nintendo GameCube. You will need a Component-to-Mini Display Port adapter to transform the signal from the outputs on the console to a format compatible with your iMac display. The feature is native to the iMac and will not require any additional software to establish the connection between the devices.
