The GE Potscrubber is a discontinued line of dishwashers that use a filter screen in the interior bottom of the appliance to block food debris from entering the pump and potentially clogging the kitchen drain. Cleaning the filter screen at least once a month or as necessary, if water stops draining properly, is a part of the regular maintenance for this appliance. The filter removes in seconds for cleaning.
