Lilies are a lovely wedding flower.

According to Norse mythology, lilies are associated with bright and sunny springtime. They are commonly found in bridal bouquets due to the elegant shape and sunny look. As they are white, lilies work well in bridal bouquets because they mix well with other flowers and colors. Create your fantasy wedding and make round lily bridal bouquets for the ceremony.

Instructions

    • 1

Gather together 10 to 15 lilies. Trim the stems with sharp scissors so they're all the same length.

    • 2

Hold four lilies in one of your hands. Arrange them in a square shape in your hand.

    • 3

Add the rest of the flowers, one at a time, around those four lilies. Adjust the lilies so the bouquet takes on a round, dome shape.

    • 4

Wrap a rubber band 3 inches below the flower blooms. Do so enough times so it holds the stems securely in place.

    • 5

Wrap a wide ribbon around the rubber band three times. Cut the ribbon evenly. Use two small pins to secure the ribbon to the stems.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep the bouquet in the refrigerator until right before the ceremony.
