How to Make a Football Koozie
Cheering for your favorite football team is hard work, so it's only fitting that you should sustain yourself with cool refreshments throughout the game. Koozies, or foam beverage sleeves, give you a no-slip grip to keep your hands dry and at-the-ready for celebratory fist pumps. Chances are you have a few old koozies lying around the house as they're common promotional items that businesses frequently use as giveaways. Even if you don't already own a koozie, they are readily available in most craft stores. All you have to do is use a little of that team spirit to create a worthy, game-day koozie design.

1
Cover a flat work surface with newspapers or an old tablecloth to prevent your decorative materials from creating a mess. Place the koozie you plan to decorate on top of the covered surface.
-
2
Cover the koozie with a fabric of your choice if you're reusing an old promotional koozie. Wrap the fabric around the koozie to determine how much material you need for coverage; cut out an adequate piece with scissors. Glue the fabric to the koozie with hot glue.
