How to Sync Quicken With GoodSync

Quicken has a backup feature that allows you to save a copy of your Quicken financial data file in case of an emergency, such as a system crash. However, you can go one step further and synchronize copies of your Quicken data file with the GoodSync synchronization and backup application. You can sync your Quicken files in two locations using the GoodSync program's interface.

Instructions

Close Quicken on your computer if it is open, then launch GoodSync.

    • 2

Click the "Browse" button on the left side of the window, then navigate to the location of the folder that contains your Quicken data files and select the folder. The path to the Quicken files appears next to the "Browse" button.

    • 3

Click the "Browse" button on the right side of the window, then navigate to the location that you want to sync the Quicken files to, such as a USB (Universal Serial Bus) hard drive.
