1
Ask your child to help you decide what type of superhero theme to feature in the room. He can focus on one main superhero such as Batman or feature several superheros in the room. A little girl might like to showcase a Wonder Woman room or other female superhero. Write down your selected theme along with items you'll need to bring it to life.

2
Paint the room to match the colors chosen for your theme. A Superman room can include red, yellow and blue. Other superhero rooms can feature green and yellow, black and red or other colors that match a superhero's outfit. Alternatively, paint the walls one solid color then feature a superhero symbol border. Your child might also like to see stripes showcasing the colors on his favorite superhero's uniform. Hire an artist to paint a mural on one main wall in the room, if you want to create something that really stands out.

Paint two or more wooden frames with glow-in-the-dark paint and let these dry. Place your child's favorite superhero photos in the frames and hang these up on the walls within her room. The paint absorbs light during the day and glows at night to make the room stand out more.

4
Place coat hangers near your child's door or attach one coat hanger to the back of the door. Place a superhero cape on the coat hanger along with a hat or other accessories.
-
5
Place superhero decal stickers on the walls throughout the room and on your child's headboard. Adorn his bed with superhero bedding or bedding with colors that matches his favorite superhero's outfit. Place plush superhero toys on the bed.
-
6
Place a large superhero rug next to your child's bed. You can find rugs displaying large superhero symbols that match the back of a character's cape. Set small hero figurines on your child's shelves, desk and dresser as a final touch.
