How to Make an Arm-Length Beaded Bracelet
As its name suggests, a beaded bracelet is a jewelry item adorned with beads. You can make an arm-length bracelet by using the same braiding and beading techniques used to create a standard-sized bracelet. An arm-length bracelet can be wrapped around the wrist several times to create a fun and fashionable design. You can experiment with beads of different sizes and colors to make a personalized bracelet that complements an outfit and showcases your style.
Things You'll Need
- 3 strands of embroidery floss (each 80 inches long)
- Assorted beads
- Scissors
- Masking tape

1
Place the three pieces of embroidery floss on your work space, with the tops of the strands touching. Make a small loop with the tops of the strands, then insert the ends of the floss through the middle of the loop and pull them firmly to create a tight knot.
-
2
Cut a strip of masking tape and use it to affix the knot onto your work space. Repeat with another strip of masking tape to ensure that the embroidery floss is held securely in place.
-
-
3
Untangle the three strands and position them so they are vertically parallel to each other.
-
4
Pick up the piece of embroidery floss on the left-hand side, lift it over the middle strand and leave it in the middle position. Lift the piece of embroidery floss on the right-hand side over the middle strand and leave it in the middle position. Untangle the loose strands.
-
5
Repeat Step 4 four more times.
-
6
Slide a bead onto the middle strand of embroidery floss. Push the bead up the strand until it touches the last braid you made.
-
7
Repeat Steps 4, 5 and 6 until you have braided a bracelet that is the length of your arm. Create a small loop at the bottom of the last braid and insert the ends of the embroidery floss through the loop. Pull the ends of the floss to create a tight single knot.
-
8
Remove the masking tape from the top knot. Cut off any remaining loose strands of embroidery floss with the scissors.
