How to Make an Accordion Inside a Card
Instead of just signing a store-bought greeting card, give a card that someone will cherish and display. Homemade cards are unique and can be given for any occasion. Accordion cards are easy to make and provide crafters with a way to mount several images in a small amount of space.

Instructions

1
Cut two pieces of 4 1/4-inch-by-5 1/2-inch cardstock. Use the same color for both pieces because this will be the front and back of your card.
-
2
Select a 5-inch-by-5 1/2-inch piece of cardstock that is an accent color used in your card’s design.
-
-
3
Score the card on the 5-inch side of the cardstock at 1 1/2-inch, 2 1/2-inch and 3 1/2-inch marks.
-
4
Fold over the score lines with a bone folder. The scored piece of cardstock should stand up and look like an “M” when complete, not a “W.”
-
5
Turn over your M-shaped cardstock and add adhesive to the two 5 1/2-inch outermost sections.
-
6
Adhere the front and back pieces of cardstock to the scored cardstock so that the colored cardstock shows on the front and back of your card.
-
7
Design the front and inside of your card using stamps and embellishments.
