How to Make a Magnifying Mirror
A vanity mirror is an important aspect of any beauty routine. Being able to sit at your vanity and comfortably apply makeup and accessories makes for an enjoyable dressing routine. A magnifying mirror helps this process greatly, and you can easily make your own vanity magnifying mirror at home using a few simple materials. Constructing the mirror yourself costs less than purchasing a similar product from a bed and bath store.
Things You'll Need
- Pizza box
- Spray paint
- Magnifying mirror
- Craft glue
- Beads
- Embellishments

Find a clean pizza box, devoid of any grease stains. Visit your local pizza shop to see if you can have a pizza box that hasn't been used before.

Paint the outside and inside of the pizza box with spray paint in a pretty color, like silver or purple. Let dry at least 12 hours.

Glue a magnifying mirror to the center of the inside top piece of the pizza box. Magnifying mirror pieces can be found at most craft stores. Let dry.

Glue beads around the perimeter of the mirror and let dry.

Decorate the outside of the box with embellishments like ribbons, sequins and glitter. Let dry.

Fill the inside of the box with jewelry, accessories and makeup.
