How to Make Wine Glass Nametags
Few things are as frustrating as losing track of a wine glass at a party. You hate to waste the wine but you don't want your guests drinking from each others' glasses. Creating name tags which slip around the stem of the glass is a simple, cheap and creative way to help your guests keep track of their wine glass at all times.

1
Purchase memory wire at a craft store for just a few dollars to create as many charms as needed. Cut one loop of ring-sized memory wire with wire cutters for each guest.
-
2
Create a hook on one end of the cut memory wire using needle nose pliers.

3
Slide on a decorative bead or small charm before starting using the letter beads. These colorful beads and charms should be distinctive for each person. For example, use only one color of bead on each name tag to help guests identify their wine glass.
-
4
Add letter beads onto the name tag. At the midpoint of the name add a large charm to make identifying the glass easier from far away. Each guest should have an unique charm they can remember such as a star or seashell.

5
Make a hook on the opposite end of the wire using the needle nose pliers.

6
Wrap the name tag around the bottom of the wine glass and connect the hooks to one another. Check to make sure the name tag is not so large that it can easily slide off the bottom of the glass. If needed, use the wire cutters to shorten the name tag and remake a hook with the needle nose pliers.
